Shiftpod 2 is a Hexagon. Each edge is 80". When you do the math, that means it is about 11'7" between the parallel edges, and about 13' 4" from one point to the opposite. In other words, it fits in a 11'7" x 13'4" square. It is 80" tall at the center and 70" tall at the shoulder.

Shiftpod recommends reinforcing the roof during high winds, so we brought a 1" wide pvc pipe exactly 6'2" long. This was just big enough to prop up the roof in the middle of the tent during windstorms, but I don't think it was really ever necessary this year. Either way you'd want to have secondary shade over top of anything that isn't highly reflective on the outside. The $900 price tag for the Shift Pod is absurd.
